About
A resource for managers figuring out how to lead their team through AI adoption, not just tell them to use it.
NICE TO MEET YOU
I'm Nicolle Merrill
I’ve trained 30,000+ professionals across 13 countries on how to work with AI. The pattern I kept seeing: employees learn the tools fine. Managers are the ones stuck, told to drive adoption with no playbook for the culture, workflow, and accountability problems that come with it.
Managing AI Lab exists to fix that gap.

My story
I spent seven years on product teams building human-centered AI before I started teaching it. Since then I’ve worked with large companies and MBA students at Porto Business School on the same question: how do you make AI actually useful, not just adopted.
Employees are rarely the bottleneck. Managers are, because nobody handed them a system for choosing the right work, setting standards, coaching a team through it, and proving it worked. That system is what Managing AI Lab teaches.
Why I do it
I kept running into the same pattern in training rooms. Employees left knowing how to use AI tools. Their managers left with more anxiety than they walked in with, because nobody had given them a playbook for leading a team through the change.
That gap is not a training problem. It is a management problem. Managing AI Lab is built to give managers the practices, not just the tools, to lead AI adoption on their team.
